What do we do to ensure need based education for children with Visual Impairment with Multiple Disabilities?
We conduct a variety of workshops for special educators, para-medical professionals, parents, rehabilitation professionals from all over India and some from the South Asian countries. The training equips them with the skills to do a functional assessment, plan an educational programme and teach children with Visual Impairment with Multiple Disabilities (VIMD).

We conduct all these training in partnership with Non-Governmental Organization and / or government agencies. We also conduct need based, specific training for organizations. We also work in partnership with various partner organizations to support them develop educational programmes / services for children with VIMD in areas where no such programs exist at present. We work with them to gradually help them develop their capacity to continue / sustain the services for children with VIMD.

We also produce educational material to ensure access to information about various teaching methods and strategies for teachers and parents of children with VIMD.
